A walk into Mykonos town from the Hermes hotel is downhill and about a kilometer (a little over half a mile) away, which does mean an uphill return journey – which isn't too bad depending on just how much you have enjoyed the Mykonian nightlife – however, this little geographical issue is really the hotel's only downside and of course, this hallowed position does allow some wonderful evening views over the town and out to sea.
