Despite the Petasos Town hotel being somewhat of a challenge to locate, once you have spotted the path entrance off the main ring road which runs around Mykonos Town, you are just a few steps away from your journey's end. Reception is small but still has a lounge area to relax for a moment before you're taken to your room. With just 18 rooms in this small hotel, space is at a premium so don't expect cavernous living areas or bathrooms bigger than many people's houses, as you will simply be disappointed. Instead, what you get is conservative but tasteful decor in the rooms, often with a floral, summery theme, comfortable beds and a regular town-hotel sized bathroom. After all, the general idea for staying at the Petasos Town hotel is not to spend every waking moment inside your room!

Should you decide a rest is in order however, the Petasos Town hotel does have a wonderful roof garden with chairs, sun loungers and a lovely view over the rooftops of Hora and out to the Aegean – ideal for the afternoon! The Petasos Town's sister hotel, the Petasos Beach and Spa, can also be enjoyed thanks to a regular shuttle bus traveling between the two. Here, you not only have the excellent spa facilities, but Platis Gialos beach is a few steps away too. Back at the Petasos Town, although breakfast is included and there is a breakfast room, the hotel does not have restaurant offering any other meals during the day. But with the close proximity of the town, this shouldn't cause too many problems!
