Hidden away from the main road and built on the Cliffside, the traditional white buildings hide within them cave-like rooms for that authentic Santorinian living experience. The surrounding cliff paths take you to Fira eventually, however there is plenty more to explore first, with each corner turned heralding another astounding view. The Astra hotel also overlooks the Skaros rock, adding another dramatic image to the already impressive vista.

The Astra Apartments and Suites contains a total of 28 rooms, broken down into sixteen apartments and twelve suites. The apartments are split into Standard, Superior and Family types, but all share similar amenities and only differ in size. This being a hotel built into a cliff however, means none of the rooms are ever the same, with the layout changing for each one. The suites are something a little more special and offer an almost unparalleled level of peace and seclusion. Again they are split into three categories, Senior, Deluxe Jacuzzi and Deluxe Pool. The Deluxe Jacuzzi Suite's outdoor Jacuzzi may well have one of the best locations on the island and we would have difficulty choosing between this and the wonderful private pool in the Deluxe Pool Suite.

The rooms at the Astra apartments & suites in Santorini seem to alternate between a more minimalist, modern look and a traditional, colorful style.
